Air
Lyon St Exupery” (LYS) airport is a major airport with many direct flights from other cities in Europe.
Train
You can fly into CDG (Charles de Gaulle) airport in Paris and then take the TGV from the train station inside CDG with direct connection to Lyon (2 hours).
You can also fly into ORY (Orly) in Paris but it does not have a TGV train station at the airport (only regular trains and metro).
The main train station in Lyon is “Lyon Part Dieu”, and there is also a TGV station at “Lyon St Exupery”.
Either train station is convenient to get to Inserm, but Part Dieu is closer.
